Youth Cricket Academy

Ford hired the YCA as one of its attractions at its corporate family day. This day is aimed at encouraging all Ford's employees to bring in their families, where there will be a host of activities and entertainment for all employee's children and partners. The YCA brought in ten of its coaches and devided the boys who were interested into training groups and sent each group off with their own coach to a station where a cricket activity was set out. There were ten stations, each with a different activity set out to teach the participant a new skill or technique. It was all carried out at their Struandale plant, and as a result of limited space we were not able to create a game of cricket for them. The coaches were very impressed with the talent that was on display at this event, and many of the boys went through the stations more than once.
