The Fees
How much does it cost ?

The fees are as follows:

Pre-school R40 per lesson + YCA shirt
Gr 1-2 R40 per lesson + 1 YCA shirt
Gr 3-5 R50 per lesson + 1 YCA shirt and 1 ball
Gr 6-12 R55 per lesson + 1 YCA shirt and 1 ball

Fees can be paid in advance, or broken down to 3 payments.

If a cricketer joins the YCA, they will be there for the term, which will consist of 1 lesson per week for the number of weeks in that term. The children in grades 3-12 will be given their own new, good quality ball that is theirs to keep during the term and afterwards.

This way all the cricketers will be playing with the same type of ball. If the ball does get lost, it is up to the individual cricketer to replace it with the same type of ball. There are many cheap balls on the market that are much harder than normal balls and tend to break bats, so the YCA will use a standard ball.

Kit will be supplied to the cricketers for use during every lesson. If due to inclement weather a practice is not possible outside, then a theory lesson will take place inside. If a lesson is missed for any reason, the coach must be informed in advance and a make up lesson will be arranged.

Aberdare Park’s bar will be open for cold drinks during the day, and parents can have drinks in the evenings.

If the ball and shirt are looked after they can be used the following term and enrolment fees will be adjusted accordingly.
