Youth Cricket Academy

The Youth Cricket Academy has excelled at hosting birthday parties for ages 4-9 years old. Coaches create an exciting cricket match, played on a real cricket field with all the boys and girls that attend, leaving their parents the luxary of relaxing and watching. All soft ball cricket equipment for the party is supplied as a healthy, beneficial learning experience takes place. Hosting the party at our fields means a stress free party for parents. The party is organised by two of the Youth Cricket Academy's experienced coaches, with boys been devided into two teams. If the cricketers are young, then the game will be arranged to suit them, by the ball being thrown to them by the coach to batters in younger parties, while the older parties the cricketers are allowed to bowl to batters. A replica, a minature cricket field, including boundaries and a fully marked pitch are prepared for the game. The coaches will umpire and score during the match. There is a club house with a deck, where cakes and chips can be kept whilst the of cricket takes place. The YCA has hosted over 100 parties with the children thoroughly enjoying the open spaces, allowing boys to be boys. Girls are encouraged to join in and often give batting a try, but do not seem to fancy fielding very much.
