On Tuesday, 25 March 2008, the SCA competed against Scotland u/21 in a 50 over fixture. Batting first on a really flat wicket, the SCA compelled a total of 217/8 in their 50 overs. Scotland looked to be loosing their way but a 50 run partnership by their tail-enders saw them reach 218/9 to win in the 39th over.
On Wednesday, 26 March 2008, the SCA took on Scotland u/21 in a 20/20 fixture hoping to make amends for the previous day's loss but unfortunately this didn't prove to be the case. Scotland won the toss and batted first on what was a 'road of a wicket' according to the Scotland cricketers. Scotland got off to a flyer, with their 50 coming up in the 4th over. Marc Petrie ended up getting to his 50 off 27 balls, and getting out for 61, while Ryan Flannigan got out for 74 off 44 balls as Scotland amassed a huge total of 191 after 20 overs. This proved to be too much for the SCA who lost wickets early in trying to chase the daunting total and ended up on 131/9 after 20 overs.
